BENEFITS OF TALLOW

Tallow is an ancestral skin care regimen that provides numerous benefits to our skin. When tallow is rendered from Suet, which is the fat from around the kidneys of a cow, it is rich in fatty acids and vitamins A, D, E, K, and B. These vitamins help moisturize and replenish our skin barrier.

Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid and antioxidant that is naturally occurring in tallow and helps fight inflammation. This also makes tallow easy for our skin to absorb and is compatible with all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Tallow can help with a number of issues such as reducing acne, minimize scarring, and rebuilding the skin barrier. Tallow has anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial properties. It can speed wound healing, treat cuts and burns, soothe rashes, and much more.

OUR SOURCING

Our tallow is currently sourced from local farms in Oregon/South Washington who practice regenerative farming.

We obtain the rendered tallow from SUET only, NEVER from trim fat. It is dry rendered on low heat to retain all of its nutrients that benefit our skin. It is then fine filtered to remove impurities. This process results in a non-beefy, low odor final product.

Our Carrier Oils are always organic, cold-pressed, and unrefined to maintain the highest nutrient profile possible.

Our Essential Oils are 100% pure therapeutic grade, free from any additives, fillers, or synthetics. Our products are always diluted at 2% or less for safe daily use on skin. Always patch test first for sensitive skin.
